Short bio

The Stray Bullitz are a five-piece southern rock and outlaw country band from Western Kentucky. Self-produced and self-released, they build harmony-driven, guitar-heavy songs that pull from the Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Pink Floyd in equal measure. Two singles are out now, with a debut album in progress.

Long bio

The Stray Bullitz came together in Western Kentucky around five players and one shared record collection. The result is southern rock with an outlaw country backbone — stacked harmonies, twin guitars, and songs that take the time they need to get where they're going. Everything the band puts out is self-produced: written, tracked, mixed and released by the five of them, with no outside hands on the sound. Their first two singles, "Midnite on the Wire" and "Doin' Alright", are streaming now, with "Kentucky Mudd" next and a full debut album in progress. Live, the band plays bars, festivals, private events and benefits across the region, bringing their own backline and a set list that runs from original material to the southern rock canon.

How pricing works

We quote every show individually instead of posting one flat number, because no two dates cost the band the same. Tell us what you have in mind and you'll get a straight figure back. Here's what moves it.

✦
Travel distance
Local rooms are the easiest number. The further out, the more fuel, vehicles and hours the date costs us.
✦
Length of the set
A 45-minute festival slot and a four-hour three-set night are different jobs. More stage time, higher number.
✦
Type of event
Bar nights, festivals, weddings, corporate dates and benefits all carry different expectations and prep.
✦
Date on the calendar
Holidays, holiday weekends and peak Saturdays are in demand and priced accordingly.
✦
Production needs
If the room has PA and lights, that's simplest. If we're bringing sound, that gets added in.
✦
Load-in & timing
Early load-ins and long waits between sound check and downbeat factor into the day.
✦
Overnight & lodging
Dates far enough out to need rooms are quoted with lodging either covered or built into the fee.
✦
Exclusivity & radius
If you need a radius clause keeping us off nearby stages around your date, that's part of the conversation.

Working with a fixed budget? Say the number in your message. We'd rather tell you honestly whether it works than trade emails for a week. Non-profits and benefits — mention it and we'll work with you.
